Criminology is a relatively new area of studies for CSS aspirants because it was introduced in 2016 as an individual optional subject. Not only does it cover Pakistan specific aspects, but it also covers dimensions spread across theories, organizations and global concepts related to Criminology. It has consistently been a high scoring subject ever since it was introduced but the difficulty level of the exam has been increasing with each passing year. Being a new subject of study in Pakistan, there is limited local academia available to cover all aspects of the syllabus. Most local books are either insufficient or unreliable and, therefore, unfit for CSS level preparation. Even books by foreign authors cover limited aspects of the syllabus. This makes criminology a very research based subject. At the same time, it is one of the most interesting subjects offered for CSS examination and high scoring as well. Therefore I have put my full effort to compile content and lectures from a huge range of highly reliable information sources so that these lectures would cover all aspects of the syllabus and become sufficient for your preparation.
The course will be covered section wise according to the CSS syllabus for Criminology which has 4 sections in which you have to attempt one question from each section. Each section will consist of 3-4 modules which will cover all the content of that section. In the end, there will be modules which will cover past paper attempting techniques.
