Exam pattern for the MDCAT (NUMS) 2023:

The MDCAT (NUMS) 2023 will consist of two components 

1. Part A (95% weightage)

Exam Type: Multiple-Choice Questions 

Number of Questions: 150

Time Allowed: 150 minutes

These 150 questions will be from the following subjects as per the defined weightage

2. Part B (Psychological Test 5% weightage)

Exam Type: Multiple-Choice Questions 

Number of Questions: 100

Time Allowed: 30 minutes

NoteAfter submission, you will not receive any email and SMS. The above-mentioned statement is the confirmation of your application submission.

  1. Registration Form for MDCAT (NUMS) -2023 shall be filled out online.
  2. Please apply using a laptop or desktop only. Registration by using a mobile phone is not supported.
  3. Click on the First Time Registration
  4. Local Students will select CNIC/B Form Option 
  5. Overseas Pakistani will select NICOP Option
  6. Foreigners or Dual Nationals will select the Passport Option
  7. Enter your own (Student) CNIC/B Form /NICOP/Passport Number at the time of registration/login, because it cannot be changed later on.
  8. Enter your full name (as per SSC/O level / 10th Grade Certificate).
  9. Enter your active/functional email address.
  10. Enter Password (minimum 6 characters)
  11. Confirm Password
  12. Enter Captcha
  13. Click on Register
  14. After registration, log in MDCAT (NUMS) -2023 Registration Portal.
  15. The online Registration application is divided into 4 Steps:
  16. Step 1 Upload Photograph & CNIC/B Form/NICOP/Passport
  17. Upload the Passport size latest photograph with blue background. (Unprofessional photographs/selfies not allowed).
  18. Upload Clear front side of CNIC/B Form/NICOP/Passport
  19. Step 2 Profile Information & Test Centre
  20. Add Personal Information
  21. Desired Exam City/Station Selection
  22. Step 3 Download & Upload Fee challan
  23. Click on Preview of Profile Information
  24.  Read your Profile Information carefully and make sure it is correct.
  25.  After that click on the certify check box
  26.  Click on the Download Fee Challan.
  27. Download Fee Challan (PDF Format): Print challan, and pay it at any branch of Habib Bank Ltd (HBL).
  28. Upload NUMS Copy of Paid Fee Challan
  29. Step 4 Final Submit Application
  30. The application shall be submitted through the online portal only. No hard copies are required.
  31. The Mobile Number and Email provided on the Registration Form should be entered correctly and it should be functional for contact as and when required by the University.
