All those students who are going to appear for MDCAT this year, it is important to know the eligibility criterion decided by the University of Health Sciences (UHS) for appearing in the Medical and Dental College Entrance test. In this article, we'll be discussing the eligibility criterion for MDCAT.
Students who are done with their FSc part-II (Pre-medical) exam or equivalent examination like A levels are allowed to appear for this exam. Those who've passed their intermediate part-1 exam are their part-2 result is awaited, can also apply for the test.
In order to apply for the test, the candidate must've passed his/her intermediate exam with a minimum of 70 percent unadjusted marks (770/1100). His/Her subjects must include Biology and Chemistry.
For candidates who have taken A-Levels exam or American 12th Grade exam, it is mandatory to have the certificate issued by the Inter-Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC).
Along with the other documents required for registration, it is mandatory to have your domicile certificate as well. Domicile certificates of the following areas are accepted only:
-Any district of Punjab province
-Federal Capital area Islamabad
-Overseas Pakistani
There is no as such age limit for the test. Also, there is no restriction whatsoever on the number of times a candidate may appear in the Admission Test except for those who have been debarred from appearing in the test on resorting to any unfair/fraudulent means.
a. The registration for MDCAT starts from 19th of July, 2019 and will close on the 29th of July, 2019. Registrations form will be available online on the following web link: https://www.bop.com.pk/mdcat-2019. Once the registration form is filled and previews, press the Submit button, to submit the details.
b. Take a Print of the form submitted.
c. Candidate Roll number will be generated. Submit the printed form along with the registration fee (PKR 1,300/- Non Refundable) at any of Bank of Punjab branches all over Pakistan.
d. The bank will stamp the form and will return the applicant’s copy back to the applicant.
e. Within the 72 hours of submission of form and fee, the candidate will be communicated through SMS and Email about their Admittance Card where the candidate’s roll number and their test center will be mentioned.
Applicants are advised that they must download and print the Admittance Card and keep this with them, to appear for the test.
