There will be no negative marking and the time duration to complete the test will be of 3.5 hours. This is more than enough if you are well prepared and play smartly. And by playing smartly, I mean that you should know all the shortcuts, tips and tricks through which you can solve tricky questions in minimum time and you should know the ways through which you can manage your time, efficiently.

-MDCAT 2021 Weightage
PMC has announced that for the year 2021, for admission in public sector colleges, MDCAT will be given 50% weightage while the rest of the weightage will be decided by the provinces themselves.
And in the case of private sector admissions, private colleges will have the autonomy to decide the weightage criteria, however, in the case of lower grade colleges, there will be some regulations that would be made compulsory to follow. The announcement of those regulations will be made in the future.
Apart from that, the most important change that is made to date is that MDCAT will be valid for 2 years. So, if you have given MDCAT in 2021 you can apply again on the same MDCAT marks in the year 2022 and 2023.
Now, this is a piece of good news for all of you, candidates appearing in the MDCAT 2021 will have the freedom to select three dates for themselves on which they want to give the test.
