1. King Edward Medical University:

In August 1860, it was initially established as the Lahore Medical School, which was to be the second such Institution in Indo Pakistan Sub-Continent. In 1911, it was renamed King Edward Medical College in Honor of the late King and Emperor and was given the status of an independent university in 2005. The closing merit of KEMU for the year 2017 is 92.545.

2. Allama Iqbal Medical College:

Allama Iqbal Medical College‎, established in 1975, is a public school of medicine, nursing and allied health sciences located in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. Jinnah hospital is attached to the college as a teaching hospital. It has the second highest closing merit among all the medical colleges across Punjab. 91.4403 was its closing merit for the year 2017.

3. Services Institute of Medical Sciences:

Services Institute of Medical Sciences was established in 2003, is a public school of medicine located in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. Services Hospital, the third largest hospital in the city, is affiliated with the institute. It has the third highest merit in medical colleges all over Punjab. 90.9416 was its closing merit for the year 2017.

4. Sheikh Zayed Medical College:

The Sheikh Zayed Medical College was established in 2003 as a self-financing medical institute. Later on, Government of Punjab abolished self-finance seats in medical and dental institutions of Punjab and converted all these seats into open merit seats.

It’s closing merit for the year 2017 was 90.6455

5. Nishtar Medical College Multan:

It is named after Sardar Abdur Rab Nishtar, a Pakistan Movement activist. Nishtar Hospital is a teaching hospital of Nishtar Medical University, located in Multan, Pakistan. It is a tertiary care hospital, serving a large population of South Punjab, adjoining areas of Baluchistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provinces. Its closing merit for the year 2017 is 90.0636

6. Rawalpindi Medical College:

Rawalpindi Medical College was established in Faisalabad in 1974 and later shifted to Rawalpindi a few months later in an incomplete building that was later handed over to Rawalpindi Medical College. 89.7364 was its closing merit for the year 2017.

7. Quaid-e- Azam Medical College:

Quaid e Azam Medical College is a medical college in Bahawalpur. It was founded in 1971 when its foundation stone was laid by the then Governor of Punjab. Its closing merit for the year was 89.4000

8. Fatima Jinnah Medical College:

It is an all-girls university‎ named after Fatima Jinnah, located in Lahore. FJMU is associated teaching hospital Sir Ganga Ram Hospital. It was initially established as Balak Ram medical college but later on, its name was changed. Its closing merit for 2017 was 90.0948

9. Ameer-ud-Din Medical College:

Ameer ud din medical college is one of the six medical colleges in Lahore. It was established in the year 2011. Its closing merit for the year 2017 was 90.1636

10. Khawaja Muhammad Safdar Medical College:

It was established in the year 2002 in Sialkot, Pakistan. Its closing merit for the year 2017 was 89.2788

11. Gujranwala Medical College:

Situated in Gujranwala and established in the year 2010, it is also one of the major medical institutes across the province. The closing merit of Gujranwala medical college in 2017 was 89.5727

12. Sargodha Medical College:

It is a constituent college of the University of Sargodha. It was established in the year 2006. The closing merit of Sargodha medical college for 2017 was 89.3398

13. Sahiwal Medical College:

It was established in the year 2014 in Sahiwal and right now only three batches are studying in this prestigious medical college. Its closing merit for the year 2017 was 89.2316

14. Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Medical & Dental College:

This medical college was established in 2009 in Lahore city. Its closing merit for 2017 was 89.1091

15. Nawaz Sharif Medical College:

Nawaz Sharif Medical College is a medical college located in Gujrat, Punjab, Pakistan. It is a constituent college of the University of Gujrat. 89.2091 was its closing merit for last year.

16. Dera Ghazi Khan Medical College:

D.G Khan Medical College was established in 2010 is a public sector medical college located in Dera Ghazi Khan, Punjab, Pakistan. DHQ Hospital Dera Ghazi Khan is affiliated to the college. Its closing merit for the year 2017 was 89.0364

17. Faisalabad Medical College:

Faisalabad medical college or Punjab medical college was established in the year 1973-74. It is one of the most prestigious medical institutes of the province. Its closing merit was 89.7273 for the year 2017.
