FPSC CSS 2022 Screening Test Webinar: Here are the Highlights!

On 19th November, 2021 the Federal Public Service Commision (FPSC) held a webinar to clarify issues and concerns regarding but not limited to FPSC CSS 2022 exam, as well as share new information regarding the screening exam. Below, we have condensed the highlights of the webinar for your ease. Keep reading to find out what the FPSC CSS 2022 screening test webinar was all about! 

1. The Syllabus for the screening test will be same as the syllabus already mentioned for compulsory subjects.   

2. In terms of the Urdu and Ethics portion of the examination, FPSC will share syllabus soon i.e. in a few days.

3. FPSC stated that they will also share two practice papers on the FPSC official website in the coming days before the exam.

4. Registration for the exam will be opened before 15 December, 2021.

5. No calculator or gadgets allowed for the test, and a sheet for rough work for the Paper and Math portion of the test will be provided.

6. The dimensions of a subject, the extent to which a topic should be covered and weightage of each subject can be calculated from the practice papers. These practice tests will be shared by FPSC in coming days.

7. The difficulty level will be like the previous CSS exam, but it is recommended to develop a vast knowledge besides the syllabus instead of just focusing on it. The reason for this is that it is a competitive exam after all, and extra effort for this goes a long way. 

8. The answer key would be shared on the same day on the website. The FPSC reassured the audience that the answer key would be error free.

9. There was dialogue regarding comprehension in the English syllabus of the exam. Practice papers can be a better gauge of the sort of question that will be posed to the CSS aspirants. 

10. The screening test will be acceptable for the same year only.
