A.F.C: Assessment of Fundamental Competencies (Level 1)

A.F.C 1 = Functional English

Computer-based examination.

Total marks = 50.

Passing marks = 25

(For AFC 1, 2 & 4)

AFC 3 is of Total = 100 marks,

Passing marks= 50.

Exams are held quarterly i-e March, June, September, December.

A.F.C 2 = Business Communication

A.F.C = 3 Quantitative Methods

A.F.C = 4 Information Technology

C.A.F: Certificate of Accounting and Finance (Level 2)

Passing marks = 50

Exams are held semi-annually i-e March and September.

You can select 3 papers and attempt those 3 in one attempt.

C.A.F 2 = Introduction to Economics and Finance

C.A.F 3 = Business Law

C.A.F 4 = Business Management and Behavioural Studies

C.A.F 5 = Financial Accounting and Reporting I

C.A.F 6 = Principles of Taxation

C.A.F 7 = Financial Accounting and Reporting II

C.A.F 8 = Cost and Management Accounting

C.A.F 9 = Audit and Assurance

Test of Writing skills

Written Examination.

Total marks = 40

Passing marks = 20

Exams are held quarterly i-e March, June, September, December.

After clearing A.F.C you can attempt this paper and you have to pass it within C.A.F.

C.A Inter Qualified and Starting of C.A Final:

After passing A.F.C & C.A.F level, you are a C.A inter qualified. Now, you are ready to join a Chartered Accountant firm. There you complete 3.5 years of training, called Articleship. You can pursue articleship from any Chartered Accountant firm or industry. Articleship is a mandatory requirement of ICAP to complete C.A. You get registered with the firm. From the date of registration, when you complete 1.5 years of articleship, you become eligible to appear in CFAP examination. You have to attempt papers of C.A final along with training. 

C.F.A.P: Certified Finance and Accounts Professional (Level 3)

To get registered with ICAP:

- Pay ICAP's Registration Fee.

- Fill the registration form

How to get books?

Once you get registered, you get your ICAP Student Card. It has your CRN and FTS mentioned on it. Now, whenever you need books, you will fill a specified form of ICAP and get your books. No charges are applicable for study texts from ICAP.
